Group Sales Manager
The Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel is currently seeking a highly self motivated, energetic, and experienced professional to join our sales team as Group Sales Manager.
This position is directly responsible for the maximization of opportunities within the corporate group market segment, including the solicitation and development of new accounts, as well as the management of existing corporate accounts. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience with hotel group sales, and connections to the corporate market in New England.
The Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel is located in historic downtown Portsmouth, NH. The hotel has played a prominent role in the community since it’s opening in 1988 and is highly regarded for its community commitment and sustainable practices. The hotel features 180 guest rooms, 21 condominium suits, 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, Harbor’s Edge Restaurant and Riverwatch Lounge.

Convention Services (Banquet Set Up)
Convention services is responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning conference rooms. The duties include, set up of tables and chairs, placing table linens, cleaning and vacuuming conference space. We have 13 conference rooms each varying in size and shape.
This position requires heavy lifting of tables, chairs, and other equipment.
The hours for the positions are primarily nights and weekends. We have both full time and part time positions available.

Banquet Servers
Banquet servers are responsible for setting up, serving, and cleaning up for events in our function space. Scheduled days and hours may vary based on business levels. We are looking for candidates who enjoy a flexible work schedule; candidates must have weekend and holiday availability. We have both full time and part time positions available.
Some previous food and beverage customer service experience is preferred.
